Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the leading luxury ocean cruise line, today announced an update to its Regent Reassurance cancellation policy, giving luxury travellers additional time, if needed, to feel confident in their decision to sail on a currently booked Regent voyage or to sail on a future one.

Effective immediately, Regent Reassurance includes all Regent voyages departing from 10 March 2020 through 30 September 2020. Guests who have paid in full on any of these voyages now have the option to cancel their voyage up to 48 hours prior to sailing and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit, which can be applied to any new booking within one year on any Regent voyage that embarks between now and 31 December 2022.

Regent Reassurance applies to all bookings under final payment made by 30 April 2020, on all Regent voyages departing from 10 March 2020, through 30 September 2020. Bookings under Regent Reassurance will have their commission protected and paid in full.

“At Regent, our extended family of guests is always at the centre of everything we do. With so much information coming from around the world very quickly regarding the global health environment, we understand our guests may feel uneasy about travelling,” said Steve Odell, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“Regent Reassurance is designed to provide our guests with maximum flexibility and give them the confidence to take a Regent voyage on the most luxurious fleet in the cruise industry,” he added.

In addition, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is modifying seven itineraries in April and May 2020, which previously included calls to Italian ports. Guests who choose to continue sailing the modified itineraries will receive a 25% Future Cruise Credit. Or they may cancel under the terms of Regent Reassurance. The impacted voyages are:

· Seven Seas Splendor™: 30 April, 12 May and 21 May 2020

· Seven Seas Mariner®: 8 April and 29 April 2020

· Seven Seas Voyager®: 16 April and 11 May 2020

The new itineraries will also be updated on RSSC.com.

“Our top priority continues to be the safety, security and well-being of our guests, partners and team members. We have proactively implemented a comprehensive set of preventative measures and continue to consult with the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control. For the most updated information and an update to our COVID-19 protocols, please refer to our Travel Health Advisory,” said Steve Odell.

“Furthermore, our aim is that through Regent Reassurance, this temporary change in policy will enable travel advisors to maintain their existing Regent bookings and drive new ones with confidence,” he noted.
