On behalf of the entire PGA TOUR team in the U.S. and here in Australia, thank you all for your support of the 2019 Presidents Cup.
From the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf at Metropolitan last year, through to last week’s Presidents Cup at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club we have had the great pleasure to work with, and alongside, our valued host clubs and their staff, our wonderful volunteers, our hard working and dedicated contractors and suppliers, and our partners and supporters to deliver two wonderful and memorable events.
We provide our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to major partners in the Victorian Government, Citi and Rolex. Without their support we would simply not be able to deliver such a world class event.
I also salute the hundred thousand plus fans. Whether it was a ground pass or top-tier hospitality, we strived to treat them as VIP’s and the overwhelming feedback we have received is that we were successful in this endeavour.
Across both events the golf was spectacular and Melbourne’s Sandbelt shone as a truly magnificent golfing canvas.
The past week at Royal Melbourne will live on in the memories of all who walked through the gates. Many have remarked that it was one of the best events ever staged in Melbourne… not just in terms of golf, but best events… period. That makes us very proud.
So, you are receiving this final Presidents Cupdate because you helped make that happen. Whether as a member of the media, a partner, contactor, supplier, golf club GM, volunteer or member of staff.

Having lived in Melbourne on more than one occasion since my first Presidents Cup as Executive Director here in 2011, it will be with more than a tint of sadness that our family will return ‘home’ to Florida in January. We thank you for making our time here so wonderful.
