Following its announcement in April on the provision of subsidised COVID-19 home testing for healthcare workers and their family members under the non-profit initiative Project Screen by Circle (“Project Screen”), Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”)  is now offering the tests to users of Pulse by Prudential (“Pulse”), a health and wellness app, at an exclusive discount. This initiative aims to prevent the spread of the virus as Hong Kong citizens battle the pandemic together and is in line with the company’s “We DO” spirit.

Exclusive 20% off discount for Pulse users to make online purchase of WHO-recommended RT-PCR test kits

From today, all Pulse users residing in Hong Kong can purchase a Project Screen At-home COVID-19 Test for HK$788, a 20% discount from the original price of HK$985, via the app. All they need to do is log onto their Pulse app, go to the “What’s Hot” page in the “Health” section and then click the “20% off at-home COVID-19 test” button. The tests are available on a first-come-first serve basis.

 In the first month since the launch of Project Screen, around 15% of the first batch of customers are healthcare workers who have benefited from Prudential’s subsidies provided to them and their family members. Project Screen is a non-profit initiative providing an at-home RT-PCR testing (gold standard) solution to everyone in the Hong Kong community. With an analytical accuracy of 99.9%, the RT-PCR testing methodology is recommended by physicians and the World Health Organization (WHO)
