In what could well be a serious lesson for other airlines including some close to home here in Australia, Qatar Airways, which it is reported to have continued flying scheduled services to Australia throughout the pandemic, while others simply stopped flying, is offering its passengers an amazing, stunning and even market leading full year of flexibility in 2021.
What does this mean?
Well, Qatar is offering its passengers unlimited date changes and fee-free refunds, yes I will repeat that…unlimited date changes and fee-free refunds for all tickets issued before 30 April, 2021.
Applicable on travel completed in 2021, Qatar is also offering the option to exchange tickets for a travel voucher with a bonus, 10% additional value when it appears bookings are made through their web site qatarairways.com…and it gets better, with applications for a voucher on line the voucher being provided within 48 hours.
