Qatar Airways is proud to be the Official Airline Partner for Fashion Weekend International 2018 (FWI2018), in partnership with FAB Entertainment, taking place at Mondrian Doha between 5 and 6 October 2018. The weekend will begin with an iconic fashion show that will showcase global celebrity fashion designer and Oscar jury member Manish Malhotra with celebrity Bollywood queen and showstopper Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Fashion Weekend International is a blend of fashion-related events, which will exclusively highlight designer Manish Malhotra’s work, providing the perfect setting for his debut show in Doha, Qatar. The event has been organised by FAB Entertainment, a Qatar based entertainment company, and alongside its core partners – Qatar Airways, Al Fardan Group, SALAM, Mondrian Doha and Qatar Tourism Authority, will be hosting a one-of-a-kind fashion weekend extravaganza that will feature Rai Bachchan walking the runway for Malhotra for the first time ever internationally.

Qatar Airways has recently introduced its award-winning Business Class experience, Qsuite, on flights to and from Mumbai and Bengaluru. Patented by Qatar Airways, Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class, as well as private cabins for up to four people with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room, a first of its kind in the industry.
Qsuite is currently available on select Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft. This revolutionary product is flying to various destinations around the globe, including London Heathrow, Paris, New York, Washington, Bangkok and Shanghai, to name a few. Flights on the Mumbai and Bengaluru routes are served by a Boeing B777 aircraft, with one aircraft flying daily to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Bengaluru International Airport.
Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) to more than 150 destinations worldwide. As part of its continued expansion plans, Qatar Airways plans to launch an array of exciting new destinations in the coming months, including Gothenburg, Sweden and Mombasa, Kenya.
