QT Canberra is celebrating love in all its forms this Valentine’s Day. While pampering your soulmate is always in fashion, QT wants Canberrans to share the love this year, hosting sweet-tooth experiences with a decadent dessert degustation, a shared dining chef’s table, a private dinner date series and luxury Valentine sleepovers. QT Canberra has options for all types of affection this February 14th.
For singles or ‘just friends’ – Share the Love: ‘The more the merrier’ rings true at QT’s iconic restaurants. QT Canberra’s Capitol Bar & Grill will host Share the Love shared-table dining experiences on 14 February. Placed at the chef’s table with sparkling on arrival, Executive Chef Josh Smith-Thirkell will be serving Capitol’s signature set feasting; three courses of lustrous dishes designed to divvy up among diners. Guests are encouraged to come solo, bring a friend or even an ex – all in the name of meeting someone new.
And for those who want to stick to the crew they know, Capitol Bar & Grill is also serving à la carte for the heart through regular bookings, however skeptics beware, tables may contain roses and traces of romance.
For the sweet new lovers – Valentine Dessert Degustation at QT Lounge: Four desserts is better than one, and from the top floor views of QT Lounge, Cupid will be serving up four spectacular courses of treats, each coupled with local matching wines for the ultimate loved-up feast. Designed for those with a heart-y appetite, the menu includes Strawberries and Cream, Glenmorangie Whiskey Crème Caramel, and Peach Melba with white chocolate parfait, frosted berries and spun sugar. To finish Aphrodite’s Apple Pie will be served with buttermilk sorbet and a touch of Valrhona milk chocolate for good measure.
For the classic romantics – Table for Two in the Sky at QT Lounge: For the classic romantic, QT Canberra has elevated the basic dinner reservation to the 15th floor QT Lounge. Table for Two in the Sky treats couples to bubbles and a delectable shared three course feast served among Canberra’s spectacular views. The series will run on 9 February and 15 February with each intimate seating paired with a touch of candlelight, acoustic live music and plenty of amore.
For those looking for a naughty night in – Eat Stay Love: QT has a cheeky hint for the loved-up couples; Valentine’s Day is a Friday this year, so why not make the most of the festival of love and book a romantic overnight stay? QT Canberra’s, Eat Stay Love package spoils loved ones with a bottle of bubbles, and a decadent treat designed by Capitol Bar and Grill’s dessert chef delivered to rooms. After a slumber on QT’s dream gel beds, guests are treated to the interactive marketplace of Capitol’s breakfast spread using local and seasonal produce. Eat Stay Love’s luxury sleepover is exclusively available 14 – 16 February.
