Designer hotel QT Melbourne is excited to announce its partnership with Ability Festival as official
hotel sponsor. The all-inclusive festival, founded by Australian wheelchair athlete Dylan Alcott, will be
held on Sunday the 7th of April and aims to normalise disability by encouraging everyone – regardless of age, gender, disability or race – to come together in celebration of live music.

As a champion of individuality and culture, QT Melbourne is proud to announce its commitment and involvement in the much anticipated event, now recognised as a leading festival on the Australian music calendar. Supporting creativity in all its forms is at the heart of QT Hotels & Resorts, and the alignment with Ability Festival will see both parties working closely to reflect Melbourne city’s intrinsic creative and inclusive ethos.

Lee Davey, General Manager at QT Melbourne says “We are thrilled to enter this partnership and
provide an intimate setting to support those who are making a difference. We are committed to
supporting diversity in the community and look forward to welcoming the Ability Festival team to QT Melbourne.”

Dylan Alcott, Founder of The Dylan Alcott Foundation and close friend of QT Hotels and Resorts says “The commitment of QT Melbourne in supporting Ability Fest enables us to invest our funds from last year’s event into ensuring the event becomes even more accessible and enjoyable for all. It
means the world that my home away from home has got behind something so special to me.”
In celebration of the festival, QT Melbourne will be offering a complimentary cocktail for all Ability
Fest ticketholders on the day of the event. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, QT Melbourne
invites attendees to take advantage of this offer available at their signature bar, Pascale, or The
Rooftop at QT.

The hotel will also be home to all talent who are donating their time, including Aussie electro-rock
royalty the Presets, Hot Dub Time Machine, singer Eliza Hull and ARC, a supergroup made up of Jet, Spiderbait and Powderfinger.
