Below is a summary of the monthly passenger numbers compared with the same period last year: 
The total number of passengers travelling through the terminal increased by 7% compared with March 2018 to 212,576 passengers, with growth even across the month.
- Domestic traffic was up 5% on last year to 157,565, with capacity up 8%.
- International traffic was up 11% on last year to 55,011, with increased capacity of 22%.
- The 12-month passenger numbers reached 2,295,581 million, up 10% compared to the previous 12 months with growth in domestic and international.
- Regional events in March were the NZ Golf Open in Arrowtown (28 Feb-3 March), and the Motatapu Off-Road Adventure Race and Upper Clutha A+P Show in Wanaka.
