In celebration of the upcoming Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2020, which will take place on 13 December in Abu Dhabi, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) will be hosting its own race day and Sydney travel agents are invited to race for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind trip to Abu Dhabi.
The race day, which will be on go-karts, is available for 12 travel agents, who will be picked randomly from those that complete the Action & Adventure Quiz.
Travel agents competing in the race day will undertake multiple heats ahead of the final race, where the winner will be selected. The winner is set to receive a grand prize consisting of a holiday to Abu Dhabi for two, flying Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, and staying three nights at the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s family friendly entertainment hub.
Country Manager of DCT Abu Dhabi for Australia and New Zealand office Jennifer Gaskin said, “We’re calling on all travel agents in Sydney to join us on such a fun day out, celebrating the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, while having our own race day”.
“Travel agents need to complete the Action & Adventure Quiz by 29 November, come up with their F1 name, and fill in their details on the competition site to be in the running.”
