Royal Plaza on Scotts celebrated Racial Harmony Day (21 July) today with the hotel’s Chief Experience Officers* (CEOs) who gamely traded in their work uniforms for ethnic costumes.

Many CEOs were dressed to impressed, including the Front Office and Carousel CEOs who attended to guests in their striking outfits.
A perfect conversation starter, curious guests complimented the CEOs on their outfits and expressed interest to learn more about the different cultures and ethnicities in Singapore. At Carousel, guests were able to fully experience Racial Harmony Day by feasting on the local cuisine on the buffet counters and interacting with Carousel CEOs in their vibrant costumes.
Joining in the fun was Sir Stamford Raffles who stands tall at the hotel façade in his best outfit – a refreshing change from his usual monochrome get up.
At Royal Plaza on Scotts, diversity and harmony between the ethnic groups are highly valued. The hotel strives to create an inclusive workplace and such celebrations are often organised to encourage camaraderie between the CEOs.
Royal Plaza on Scotts (RP) was inducted into TTG Travel Awards Hall of Fame in 2018 after winning Asia Pacific’s Best Independent Hotel for ten years in a row. RP also emerged as the top hotel on this year’s Best Workplaces in Asia by Great Place to Work®. The hotel clinched the second spot in the Small & Medium Workplaces category, climbing up a rank from last year’s third position and is the only hotel awarded in the category.
