Raffles Hotel Singapore Appoints Priscilla Leong As Head Bartender Of Long Bar

Raffles Hotel Singapore is pleased to announce the appointment of Priscilla Leong as its Head Bartender of the iconic Long Bar, effective 1 November 2018.

Priscilla brings with her more than a decade of experience, having worked across top bars in Australia prior to her move back to Singapore.

The Singaporean-born bartender first discovered her passion for cocktails in 2007, during her stint at 1806, one of the pioneer cocktail bars in Melbourne. She went on to open her own German-themed cocktail bar in 2008 and was Head Bartender at various award-winning cocktail bars across Australia, including Golden Monkey, Seamstress Bar, and many more. Notably, during her time helming Sydney’s speakeasy cocktail bar – The Baxter Inn – the bar was crowned Australian Bar of the Year in 2018. In addition, Priscilla also worked as a Hospitality Consultant with Alembic Concepts, where she led the beverage programs for multiple bars in Australia.

In her role as Head Bartender of Long Bar, Priscilla will oversee the refreshed beverage portfolio at the legendary bar and beyond. Priscilla will also work closely together with Paul Hammond, Head Bartender of Writers Bar, and Stéphane Soret, Director of Wine and F&B Special Projects, to conceptualise and develop the beverage program across all Raffles Hotel Singapore bar and dining experiences.

Priscilla graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Melbourne and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Deakin University.
