As the newly named Senior Vice President of Global Business Development, Ramin Asgard will oversee an international team of sales executives promoting citizenship by investment programs for FirstPathway Partners (FPP). Asgard joined FPP in August 2019 and has been a key partner in growing the business in the Middle East and South Asia. A highly decorated veteran U.S. Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State, Asgard formerly served as Political Advisor to the Commanding General of U.S. Central Command, first for General David Petraeus and later for General James Mattis. Mr. Asgard also served as Director of the Iran Regional Presence Office in Dubai, and as Director of the Voice of America’s Persian News Network.  His other overseas tours include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkey.  Domestically he served at the National Security Council and as Desk Officer for Iraq, Iran, and Turkey.  In addition, Ramin has been an immigration attorney and a data analytics technology entrepreneur.  He is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Phi Beta Kappa. He holds a JD from Tulane University, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA summa cum laude from Temple University.
