With regional travel in NSW allowed from today, Monday 1 June 2020, Reflections Holiday Parks are open for business and welcoming guests with the assurance that it will continue to provide safe, affordable and memorable holidays now restrictions are lifted.Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Steve Edmonds said the health and safety of park guests and workers would remain a priority with stringent distancing and hygiene measures in place to comply with Government and industry direction.
“We are pleased to return to normal operations from 1 June and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and cooperation during the period of closure imposed by the Public Health Orders,” Mr Edmonds said.
“Visitors to our holiday parks and community reserves will naturally see changes as we continue to manage the risk of COVID-19 to keep everyone safe, but we are looking forward to showcasing and supporting our regional NSW communities once again.
Changes to manage COVID-19 include:
- Increased expectations for everyone to abide by government protocols for personal hygiene such as hand washing and use of hand sanitiser and practicing good cough/sneeze etiquette
- Markers and signage to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining physical distancing of 1.5 meters
- Limits on the number of people in enclosed spaces such as reception, camp kitchen, laundries and communal facilities – signage will advise the number of people that are able to enter the space
- Closure of some park facilities for the time being such as playgrounds and swimming pools

Mr Edmonds said whilst measures were in place to increase the safety of guests and park staff, people could still enjoy a perfect holiday staying in cabin accommodation, camping with their caravans or pitching a tent with their family.
“Our parks are in the most sensational destinations throughout NSW and we are proud to encourage travel to support these regional destinations,” Mr Edmonds said.
“Our country parks based by inland dams are particularly breathtaking at this time of year and water levels are looking good after the country’s recent drought.
“The vast community recreation reserves at these parks also offer day visitation for picnics and dam activities like boating, fishing or wakeboarding.”
Mr Edmonds said people were cautiously looking for an easy getaway to celebrate the easing of restrictions safely.
“Our coastal and country parks promise fresh air and relaxation, encourage healthy outdoor activities and support regional townships which have done it tough and struggled through drought, fires and now a pandemic.”
