Celebrity-loved Vive Cake Boutique, rings in the festive season with the launch of a special collection of cakes and mini cakes from 9 December 2019 to 2 January 2020.

“Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, because it invites people from all around the world to celebrate and share love and blessings with one another,” shares Ms Vivien Lau, Founder of Vive Cake Boutique. “I am delighted to be part of this wonderful tradition with the cakes my team and I have made.”

Whether one has been naughty or nice, the Santa’s Hat (HK$780 for 0.8 lbs; HK$1,380 for 1.6 lbs) cake is sure to bring joy. Shaped in the iconic pointed hat of Santa, the pink or blue buttercream frosted triangular cake is made with classic Red Velvet. Accented with subtle buttercream snowflakes and ‘powder’ snow, the convivial dessert is perfect for office Christmas parties, social gatherings or to be shared between family and loved ones.

Delight and wow loved ones with VIVE’s Magical Snow Globe (HK$1,480 for 1 lb; HK$2,280 for 2 lbs), a cake that embodies the classic Christmas spirit through a dream-like design. VIVE’s signature unicorn wears a scarf and sits playfully atop white frosting ‘snow,’ encapsulated in an enchanting snow globe, serving as the piece de resistance.

Embodying the romanticised winter evenings synonymous with Christmas is Winter Nights (HK$680 for 1 lb; HK$1,280 for 2 lbs). A glossy dark blue frosting covers the base of the cake, depicting the navy skies of a winter night, with VIVE’s iconic upside down ice-cream cone sits atop the cake; and hand painted blue Christmas trees giving a festive feel.

Both Magical Snow Globe and Winter Nights comes in seven of VIVE’s signature flavours including classics such as Red Velvet Buttercake with Cream Cheese, Rich Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache, Hazelnut Cake with Hazelnut Buttercream and Chopped Hazelnut, as well as progressive flavours such as Earl Grey Cake with Earl Grey Cream Cheese, Banana Cake with Chocolate Buttercream and Crunchies, Vanilla Sponge Cake with Mango and Yuzu Mousse, and Pistachio Cake with Pistachio Buttercream and Chopped Pistachio.

Those who wish to sample a variety of VIVE’s festive creations may opt for Pastel Ornament (HK$58), a vanilla sponge cake with American soft cheese mousse and mango compote, served in the shape of a pastel blue or pink round Christmas ornament, complete with buttercream snowflakes and ornament ‘string’. A Santa’s Hat – Mini (HK$58) made with vanilla sponge cake with pistachio mousse and strawberry compote is the perfect teaser for those who are tempted to celebrate Christmas early.

Those who long for a romantic Christmas ambience can enjoy VIVE’s White Christmas mini cake (HK$58), a classic vanilla sponge cake filled with strawberry jam filling. Baby blue mascarpone mousse blanket the cake, frosted with snow and snowflakes – accompanied by a snow-capped white Christmas tree atop.
