Combining two of Australia’s natural World Heritage sites  – The world’s  largest coral reef, the Great Barrier Reef, and the ancient, tropical rainforests of Daintree National Park,  Majestic Whales Encounters is offering a limited-time offer on its new whale swim adventure in north Queensland. The package will see travellers join a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim with the rare dwarf minke whales, snorkel on the famous reef and stay in rainforest treehouses at Silky Oaks, a luxury, eco lodge and spa.

The 10-night ‘Swim with Dwarf Minke Whales’ package is the first Queensland trip offered by Australian company, Majestic Whale Encounters, which is known for its whale swim holidays in Tonga. Majestic Whale Encounters is offering $2000 off for family or four-person bookings in a quad-share cabin if booked by July 31, 2018. The tour is ideal for families or groups of friends to explore the wonders of Australia’s natural beauty.

Beginning on June 28, 2019, the whale swim holiday aims to coincide with the dwarf minke whales’ annual migration to the north Queensland Ribbon Reefs – the only place in the world where you can swim with them. Their inquisitive nature brings them close to boats, divers and snorkelers, often swimming just a metre away as they playfully lift their heads out of the water to observe the boats, tail-slap the water and breach These close encounters and interactions can last many hours.

Highlights of the 10-night tour include:

* A three-night stay in 5-star, private treehouses, immersed in the sights and sounds of the Daintree rainforest at Silky Oaks Lodge

*A journey to remote Cape Tribulation to visit ancient rainforests and habitats as well as venturing down the Daintree River to see diverse flora and birdlife

* A Dreamtime walking tour exploring the lush rainforest of Mossman Gorge

* Eight days aboard the luxury ‘liveaboard’ vessel, ‘The Spirit of Freedom’, swimming with dwarf minke whales and exploring the remote Ribbon Reefs.  Discover the huge range of biodiversity from the giant, fluorescent clam to the vividly red flame file shell.

* Snorkelling or diving the ribbon reefs which are famous for large marine animals such as manta rays, eagle rays, green turtles, reef sharks, sea snakes and giant cods.

Including the discount, the 10-night package begins on June 28, 2019, and is available from $6400 per person, quad share, a saving of $500 per person, if booked before July 31, 2018.
