Scenic Group has formally announced its exclusive 2021 Kimberley cruise season for its ultra-luxury Scenic Eclipse, which they describe as The World’s First Discovery Yacht, with Scenic Eclipse to cruise in Australian waters for an exclusive and limited season.

While the original information related to an eight cruise programme, this official releases says that the new program features two 11-day Kimberley Discovery Voyages itineraries, operating between Darwin and Broome, with six departures in total.

Anthony Laver, Group General Manager Sales & Marketing Australasia said, “We are very proud to bring Scenic Eclipse to our waters for the first time, providing Australians with the opportunity to experience the benchmark in 6-star ultra-luxury cruising. Scenic Eclipse’s innovative and intimate yacht design provides a wealth of world-class facilities, choice of dining, relaxation and wellness, combined with unrivalled exploration of the Kimberley’s remarkable coastline”, adding, “Whether it’s soaring above in our two Airbus HJ130-T2 helicopters or exploring by Zodiac with an expert Discovery Team, our guests will have the ultimate truly all-inclusive ‘ultra-luxury meets discovery ’ experience.”

Scenic says that the exclusive Scenic Eclipse Kimberley Discovery Voyages will be available for only up to 228 guests (114 suites). 6-star amenities include spacious all balcony suites, which start from 32sqm, up to 10 dining experiences, nine bars and lounges, the expansive 550sqm Senses Spa and a gym, Pilates and yoga studio.

They added that guests during the Australian season will be the first to enjoy Scenic Eclipse’s latest innovations, with the addition of new cabanas and a Panorama Bar on Deck 10, the reimagined Yacht Club, Asian fusion dining with the new Night Market @ Koko’s and culinary masterclasses at Epicure and that as part of their commitment to ensuring the destinations they visit retain their wonder, Scenic has invested in state-of- the-art-technology and environmentally sustainable systems, to leave as small a footprint as possible. Including a GPS dynamic positioning system which maintains Scenic Eclipse’s location without dropping anchor on the Kimberley’s sensitive sea beds.

Scenic also says that its health and safety protocols will also be implemented to ensure the wellbeing of their guests and crew for these exclusive voyages and that Scenic remains committed to continuously developing the best practice safety standards that go beyond regulatory requirements, including Scenic Eclipse’s advanced HVAC system, which ensures 100% circulation of fresh air in each suite and in public areas.

Scenic said that on this unforgettable Discovery Voyage, guests will be able to marvel at landscapes of vivid contrasting colours, navigate gushing waterfalls on a Zodiac, travel past sunning saltwater crocodiles, spot endangered green sea turtles, walk among an incredible variety of native flora, and gain insights from the traditional owners of our ancient land and after a day of discovery, unwind in the ultra-luxury on board their Discovery Yacht, and enjoy truly all-inclusive indulgence.

The advertised itinerary is subject to the grant of Australian and international regulatory approvals for operations within Australian territorial waters.
