Marking the first event of its kind in the Blue Mountains, Dinosaur Valley will take visitors on a journey through time to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs among towering Jurassic rainforest.

Joined by friendly Dinosaur Rangers, visitors of all ages will meet prehistoric dinosaurs up close during daily ‘Meet and Roar’ events, while the kids will enjoy meeting their favourite dino friends.

Catering to couples, families and everyone in between, visitors will have a roaring time with a range of free events, movie nights and activities to keep the kids entertained.

An extensive range of accommodation packages are also available with local hotels and resorts, allowing visitors to extend their stay and make the most of a weekend getaway in the Blue Mountains.

Scenic World’s Events Manager Alana Silk said Dinosaur Valley provided a unique opportunity for visitors to disconnect from their devices and experience nature in unexpected ways this summer.

“Dinosaur Valley is a natural fit for Scenic World’s Jurassic rainforest setting. Visitors can see dinosaurs moving among the rainforest, learn fun facts from Dinosaur Rangers, and meet Ringo the Raptor and Barbara the baby triceratops during daily interactive events,” she said.

With over 20 dinosaur exhibits on display, visitors can explore the valley at their own pace with unlimited entry on all Scenic World rides and attractions, including the world’s steepest railway – the Scenic Railway.

“Dinosaurs have continued to capture our imaginations for centuries and we hope to tap into that curiosity in creative ways that leave a lasting impact,” Ms Silk said. “Whether you’re a nature lover or a seasoned dino fan, Dinosaur Valley will be one to remember.”

Dinosaur Valley is free with entry to Scenic World, with tickets priced from $39 for adults, $21 for children under 14 years and $99 for a family pass including entry for two adults and up to five children. Tickets include unlimited travel on the Scenic Railway, Skyway, Cableway and Walkway and are on sale now.
