Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group announces an exclusive master franchise agreement with Five Guys and its ambitious plans to open Five Guys stores across Australia and New Zealand as part of Five Guys global footprint.

Five Guys is a family operated franchise restaurant group that’s passionate about serving quality burgers and fries in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Given the option to go to college or start a business, the brothers decided on the latter. The Murrell family established its first restaurant in 1986 in Virginia and the brand has consistently gathered accolades for its freshness, simplicity, and quality ever since. What started off as a little ‘burger joint’ turned into 1,654 stores in the United States of America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, earning an impressive international cult following along the way and has been voted many times as the #1 burger restaurant. With plans to expand in Australia and New Zealand, opportunities to secure the right franchise deal were on the horizon.

The partnership between Seagrass BHG and Five Guys is a natural fit, and the deal, an obvious poetic dance of two successful companies coming together. Both privately held family businesses, with common values, ethos, and passion for food, people, impressive company growth, and breadth of operational capability.
