A recently restored historic cottage in picturesque Seal Rocks on the NSW Mid North Coast has opened its doors to the public and is now available to book as guest accommodation.

Davies Cottage has been lovingly restored by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and offers sensational views over Sugarloaf Bay, with the beautiful bushland of Myall Lakes National Park on its doorstep.

Located just three hours’ drive from Sydney, the three-bedroom coastal cottage is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, ideal for a family escape or romantic getaway.

Davies Cottage, Seal Rocks

The boutique cottage was built in the 1950s by a local fishing family and is perched on the rocky headland at the eastern end of Seal Rocks village, offering unrivalled coastal views.

From the large timber deck, guests can sit back and relax with unobstructed views of Boat Beach and Sugarloaf Bay – one of the best views on the NSW coast.

The self-contained cottage sleeps up to six people and is complete with an outdoor BBQ, sun lounge chairs on the deck, a fully equipped kitchen and a relaxed open-plan living space.

It’s just a short walk down to the beach, making the cottage a great option for families or groups of friends seeking an easy coastal escape.

The cottage is located within Myall Lakes National Park, nestled in a premier spot in the popular village of Seal Rocks, with the larger town of Forster only a 45-minute drive away.

 Guests can enjoy a range of nearby activities including visiting historic Sugarloaf Lighthouse, spotting dolphins at Lighthouse Beach, exploring Treachery Headland and driving to nearby Wallingat National Park or Booti Booti National Park to enjoy bushwalks, lookouts and beautiful beaches.
