Renowned for discreet luxury, opulent décor, exceptional service and incredible architecture, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore are also home to a custom collection of ‘Fullerton Experiences’ – which invite guests to discover a different side of the Lion City through a range of guided activities and excursions.

The Fullerton Hotels central waterfront location in Marina Bay provides an ideal base from which to enjoy the diverse delights of this cosmopolitan city.

Popular ‘Fullerton Experiences’ include:

Heritage Walks

Hosted by seasoned experts from Jane’s Singapore Tours, Fullerton Experiences offers Tuesday morning heritage walks which take intrepid explorers ‘off the beaten track’ to discover Singapore’s diverse culture, cuisine and colour. Intimate tours take 3.5 hours, with complimentary pick up from the Hotels for booked guests.

Hot Heritage Cuisine

Enjoy an insight into Singapore’s eclectic heritage cuisine as The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s chef educates you on the finer points of three iconic local dishes – Popiah, Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice. Even better, you get to taste your creations while enjoying the spectacular view over magical Marina Bay from The Lighthouse Restaurant & Rooftop Bar. This exclusive class for hotel guests runs on the first Saturday of every month.

Delectable Desserts

On the second Saturday of each month, hotel guests can sweeten their stay with an Artisanal Dessert baking demonstration and afternoon tea thanks to the talents of the Fullerton pastry team. This three-hour collective event includes glazing cookies, mastering the art of the perfect tart crust and learning the tricks of the trade, such as perfecting the ‘feet’ on macaron shells. Following the demonstration, enjoy a sublime three-tiered afternoon tea at The Courtyard, including free-flowing tea or coffee.

Craft Cocktails

The third Saturday of each month sees the Fullerton’s resident mixologists shaking up a storm with artisan ingredients, homemade infusions, botanicals and craft spirits. This interactive demonstration features four cocktails, complimentary nibbles, a liquid dessert and an exclusive invitation to immerse yourself in the inimitable vibe of the 1930s at Post Bar’s Tuesday Swing Night.

Picnic in the Park

Let the Fullerton’s expert chefs pack a picture-perfect picnic for two to enjoy nearby at your leisure. Take a pew by the river or explore Merlion Park while sharing a selection of international and local favourites, including crispy chilli crabmeat buns, kueh lapis, a selection of petite nyona kuehs, Singapore satay with peanut sauce, smoked bacon and summer truffle grissinis, and smoked chicken, chorizo and potato tarts. After an even more indulgent experience? Opt to add a bottle of wine or a chauffeured limousine transfer.

Vintage Vespa Tours

Cruise Singapore’s hidden laneways and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavours of its side streets in a hand-restored vintage Vespa sidecar. With a Singapore Sidecars driver as your personal guide, hear tales of local neighbourhoods on an immersive ride through Tiong Bahru and Tanglin, and visit the award-winning Chinese arts institute which is committed to preserving and passing on the region’s rare traditional music forms.

For those who like their action after dark, tours are available to take in some of the city’s hottest drinking holes and vibrant nightlife neighbourhoods. Alternatively, create your own custom itinerary, sit back in your sidecar, and let your guide show you the sights in style.
