Tourism Western Australia will host educational trade seminars on Australia’s east coast in September, following the raft of new product, events and experiences launching in Perth and the Margaret River region.

Retail and wholesale travel agents can learn more about WA’s self-drive itineraries and packaged product by registering for one of the Show me the WAy seminars, being held in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Perth has undergone a once-in-a-generation transformation, with a plethora of new hotels, revitalised urban spaces, new wining and dining options and public infrastructure investments changing the face of the city.

Some of the capital city’s new openings include a state-of-the-art 60,000-seat sports and entertainment venue, Optus Stadium, major public precinct, Yagan Square, and several new hotels including the QT Perth, The Westin Perth and The Sebel West Perth.

Located a three-hour drive south of Perth, Margaret River is continuing to expand its product offering which goes beyond its premium wine production. Visitors can enjoy a mix of microbreweries and distilleries; authentic producers; unique events; arts and culture, and; stunning natural surrounds that include limestone caves, world-renowned surf breaks and towering karri forests.

In November, the region will once again host the annual Margaret River Gourmet Escape, attracting a selection of the world’s finest culinary figures, including Nigella Lawson, Rick Stein and Guy Grossi. A little further south, Albany will welcome UK artist Bruce Munroe’s spectacular Field of Light exhibition from early-October.

For agents interested in learning more about WA and its impressive itineraries and product offering, you can register for the evening seminars by emailing product@broomekimberley.com with your preferred Show me the WAy seminar location and date (see times below).
