Helloworld’s nautical wholesale offshoot Seven Oceans Cruising yesterday launched a new one-stop-shop which it says can cater for and book all agents’ cruise needs.

Seven Oceans Cruising specialises in marketing and selling cruises to travel agents.

Live since yesterday, Seven Oceans’ new booking system Neptune (based on the Odysseus system) provides the ability to book cruises online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In addition, consultants will be able to add pre- and post-cruise accommodation as well as flights, the company said.

“The launch of Neptune is an exciting next step for our Seven Oceans business” Steve Brady, general manager sales, commented.

“We’ve delivered a platform that is truly focused on helping our travel agent partners sell efficiently and effectively.”

Booking reports are available and bookings will count towards Cruise Stars.

To coincide with the launch, Seven Oceans is offering a Neptune Launch Incentive: for every new booking made online through Neptune during the incentive period 1-31 July 2019, consultants will earn double Trip Dollar$. Weekly prizes per region within Australia will see AUD 150 Trip Dollar$ awarded to the consultant with the highest number of bookings, and the highest booked revenue.

One login provides access to over 40,000 cruise options, with exclusive inventory, as well as complete fly, cruise and stay packaged holidays. The user-friendly search engine lets agents add their client’s profile to store for future or repeat bookings.

DANII Foundation Jelly Bean Ball

MEANWHILE, on the charity front, Helloworld Business Travel representatives turned out in their best attire recently for the eighth annual DANII Foundation Jelly Bean Ball, which raised more than AUD 380,000 for the charity in support of type 1 diabetes.

Guests were treated to celebrity appearances with Rod Kafer as MC and Vic Lorusso as auctioneer, entertainment from the Australian School Girls’ choir and a large collection of impressive auction items.
