Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Penang garnered more awards and honours in the second half of 2018.
Smart Travel Asia, a leading travel website, has named the resort the ‘No.5 Best Family Hotel in Asia’ and number nine among the ‘Top 25 Spa Hotels in Asia’.

In its ‘Best in Travel Poll’, 1.2 million unique readers of SmartTravelAsia.com cast their choices for the best in class nominees with emphasis on their preferences related to travel, hospitality and service industries. Readers were asked to vote based on personal experience on products and services from hotels, luxury resorts, spas, destination, business cities and the world’s best airlines and airports.

Based on a shortlist after rigorous assessment conducted by industry professionals, the resort emerges victorious in the Asia and Australasia edition of the awards. Winners will be accorded mention and prominence in copies of the LTG distributed to professional and affluent people worldwide.
