Here is a bit of good news about our favourite aircraft. Singapore Airlines has confirmed that one of its Airbus A380 aircraft stored in Alice Springs has begun its returned to Singapore ahead of a schedule retro-fitting and maintenance program.

The aircraft will undergo routine checks in Sydney before returning to Singapore. All 12 remaining A380’s will be fitted with the latest A380 cabin product according to Simply Flying. As well as first and business upgrades the new configuration contains 82 flatbed J class seats and 44 premium economy seats in a 2-4-2 configuration on the main deck.
