Smirnoff returns to Splendour in the Grass this July with two brand-new immersive events focused on delivering the perfect holistic weekend experience – ‘The Wilds’ and the Smirnoff Infusions X Iceberg’s Dining Room and Bar experience.
Top of the bill will be Smirnoff’s main hub, ‘The Wilds’; a double storey event space and chill out zone, perfect for catching a surprise performance or kicking back with friends. Furthermore, Smirnoff has collaborated with Bondi’s famous Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, to curate a unique taste experience that plays host toSmirnoff’s latest brands, the popular Pure, and new low-calorie offering ‘Infusions’.
With a curated series of events, intimate shows, tasting menus and giveaways across both events, there is no better way to experience the perfect festival journey.
The Wilds
An immersive attack on the senses, ‘The Wilds’ is Smirnoff’s main hub and destination across the full festival weekend.
Reaching beyond the festival walls and breathing life into local environments, ‘The Wilds’ welcomes festival-goers with a naturally-wild botanical world filled with overgrown beauty that rejuvenates, refreshes and gives life to those who are a part of it. It is a place for those that like to explore, connect, and get more out of life and their festival experience. Here, attendees will be able to enjoy Smirnoff Pure ‘Classic Lime & Soda’, made with just vodka and natural ingredients, with nothing to hide.
Curated by local Byron-based artists, ‘The Wilds’ will host a series of inspirational workshops across the weekend that encourage attendees to let their creative spirit run free. From working with in-house designers to create profile-worthy headwear pieces to designing unique airbrushed body art, all of the sessions will run from midday to 4pm each day and be free for any attendee.
In an effort to keep all guest’s festival ready, Smirnoff has also announced an exciting collaboration with British cosmetic favorite, Rimmel, to provide free touch-up and makeover sessions from professional make up artists. Tailored specifically to each guest the ‘Rimmel Wild Looks’ space will be open between 2pm-5pm on Thursday, and 12pm-4pm on Friday – Sunday, with all Rimmel products used completely free of charge.
Finally, any house at Splendour wouldn’t be complete without a soundtrack to match and Smirnoff has held nothing back in building one epic line-up. Kicking off each day at 12pm, laid back acoustic sessions from Katia & Ino and Izaeah Marsh will be held upstairs, before a huge line-up of international DJs which include Josh Kelly, Jordan Burns, Noy, All My Friends DJs and Dena Amy take over until 2am. Smirnoff Infusions X Iceberg’s Dining Room and Bar Experience
After the sell-out success of last year’s Splendour in the Grass restaurant pop-up, Smirnoff Infusions is partnering with Bondi’s Icebergs Dining Room and Bar for an epic dining experience with sessions across the festival weekend.
Positioned in a private and picturesque backstage location overlooking a lake, the 100-seat pop-up will offer an exclusive first reveal of Smirnoff ‘Infusions’, the new innovative drink offering less than 40 calories per serve* that is made for the day.
Guests who book into a session across the weekend will be greeted with a Smirnoff Infusions on arrival and can enjoy the premium spirit infused with natural fruit and botanical extracts alongside a special three-course menu designed by Iceberg’s Executive Chef Monty Koludrovic.
Infusions is a premium spirit infused with natural fruit and botanical extracts that will launch nationally late August. Simply add soda for a naturally fresh, light and interesting taste that is under 40 calories per serve* and perfect for the day. Infusions will come in two flavours, Cucumber, Lime & Mint, and Passionfruit & Lime.
