South African Airways today have announced a change to their schedule with flight SA 281 to depart from Perth at 14.30 as from 1 March 2020.
Tim Clyde Smith, Regional General Manager – Asia Pacific said “SAA have for some time, been looking at options to ensure the continued success of the Perth to Johannesburg route.
“The new schedule will improve the efficiency of our fleet by operating one aircraft as opposed to two currently flying on this route. The optimisation of this flight makes commercial sense thus ensuring the longevity of the route and improving efficiency for our valued customers.
“We understand that this may cause some inconvenience for our travel partners in the short term, but thank them for their continued support and understanding that these measures will help ensure the long term success of our national carrier.” Continued Clyde-Smith
