Spreading Christmas cheer: 50 Degrees North organises an exclusive live session with Santa in Finland
At the end of a year full of disappointments for travellers, the Nordic tour operator and destination specialist, 50 Degrees North, is spreading the holiday spirit by organising an exclusive live session with Santa in Finnish Lapland.
The free event is open to 50 Degrees North’s Australian clients that were due to participate in their 2020 escorted Christmas tours to Finland, but had postpone their plans.
“We wanted to do something to lift people’s spirits – especially those who were due to spend Christmas in Finland this year and meet Santa in person in just a week from now”, said Jayde Kincaid, the co-founder of 50 Degrees North. “After such a difficult year for the travel industry, and also for all of our clients, we could all use some nice surprises”, added Kincaid.
The online small group session with Santa is organised on December 23rd at 7pm (AEDT), just a day before Santa begins his rounds around the world. Children can ask questions from Santa and each family will also receive a video recording of the event afterwards.
