Travel Agents registered in the South Pacific Specialist Programme have an opportunity to win an eight nights stay at selected luxury resorts in Tahiti, this was announced today by South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) Chief Executive Officer, Chris Cocker.

The South Pacific Specialist Programme is SPTO’s accredited online training programme. It offers travel agents essential information to understand tourism products and services available in the South Pacific and assists them in recommending various Pacific destinations to travelers.

“Our accredited travel agents are specialists in 12 Pacific Island countries and niche markets such as weddings and honeymoons, fishing, culture and heritage, diving and backpacking. We run these competitions with our member countries to incentivize our South Pacific specialists,” Mr. Cocker said.

There are 559 certified South Pacific Specialists across the globe in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Asia, Europe, India, United Kingdom and United States, “This is our first incentive competition for the year and we are grateful to our partners in Tahiti for supporting the competition by donating prizes. They are Tahiti Tourisme, Manava Suite Resort Tahiti, Manava Beach Resort & Spa, Tahaa Island Resort & Spa,” he added.

The winner of the competition will receive meet and greet services upon arrival, local transfers, island tours, outdoor activities and four nights’ each accommodation at Manava Suite Resort Tahiti and Manava Beach resort & Spa Moorea inclusive of full buffet breakfast.

This competition is open only to South Pacific Specialists and closes on 10 May 2019. Travel agents interested in joining the South Pacific Specialist Programme may do so by registering and completing  the South Pacific Specialist training on  www.southpacificspecialist.org or www.southpacificspecialist.org/cn (for Chinese travel agents).
