STR’s preliminary June 2019 data for London indicates strong performance levels.
Based on daily data from the month, London reported the following in year-over-year comparisons:
- Supply: +1.7%
- Demand: +5.7%
- Occupancy: +4.0% to 89.76%
- Average daily rate (ADR): +11.3% to GBP178.20
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): +15.7% to GBP159.95
The ADR and RevPAR levels are the highest for a June in STR’s London database. STR analysts note that multiple events contributed to higher ADR levels: the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers Conference (3-6 June), IFSEC International (18-20 June) and Global Offshore Wind 2019 (25-26 June).
STR will release full June results later this month.
