Suit up local heroes! Madame Tussauds Sydney thanks frontline workers with free entry in July

July 14, 2020 Attraction No Comments Email Email

Heroes don’t always wear capes, often they’re seen in scrubs or bunker gear and saving lives in siren-broadcasting vans.

It’s these local, everyday courageous people in unsuspecting battlegrounds that Madame Tussauds Sydney’s Justice League is calling out to with free entry throughout July.

As a thank you to the defenders of the community, emergency services, teachers and healthcare professionals are invited to a free day out with over 100 famous figures in 15 unique zones of interactive activities and exhibits.

They can send a bat signal in Gotham City, lift a helicopter with Superman in Metropolis and help Wonder Woman wield god-like power through her wrist gauntlets.

Guests can also rub shoulders with the Hemsworths, party with Pink and Lady Gaga, cook alongside Curtis Stone and meet the Royals.

“Every day these brave individuals put their lives on the line to protect, defend and educate the wider community,” said Richard Dilly, General Manager, Merlin Entertainments’ Darling Harbour Attractions.

“Free entry throughout the winter school holidays and beyond is the least we can do to say thanks and show our gratitude for their extraordinary service.”

Madame Tussauds Sydney’s frontline offer is part of the ‘Big Thank You’, a global effort by parent company, Merlin Entertainments to donate 30,000 tickets to emergency and essential workers across the UK, Asia, North America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Free entry at Madame Tussauds Sydney extends to teachers, doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, fire officers, ambulance officers, aged care workers, pre-school workers and correctional services officers.

To take up the opportunity, frontline workers can wear their super suits (uniforms) to the attraction or flash a valid Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) card, Staff ID or proof of work.

Fly in soon, the offer is available until 3 August. Click here for more information on the offer, or to purchase tickets, please visit:
