Sun Peaks Resort is now open to the public for lift access alpine hiking and DH mountain biking as of today. The resort has implemented modifications to normal operating procedures in order to keep staff, guests, and the community safe. The goal this summer is to provide guests with opportunities to explore wide-open spaces in the mountains through key summer activities of mountain biking, alpine hiking, and golf.

“We are thrilled to be able to open for summer and allow people to get outdoors and recreate in the safe environment of the mountains. We have worked diligently to develop an operating plan that thoughtfully meets guidelines while helping play a role in providing an outlet for guests after what we have all been through in recent months,” says Aidan Kelly, Chief Marketing Officer, Sun Peaks Resort.

The golf course started with a limited opening for members only on Saturday, June 13 and then to the general public on Friday, June 26. Most other village amenities and services are also open now, including hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets.

Summer season passes and daily lift tickets are now on sale online at the best prices. To help manage guest numbers, overall guest experience, and to ensure that new safety procedures are followed, there will be limits on total number of day tickets and season passes available for sale this summer. All products should be purchased online, in advance to guarantee access, as window ticket sales will not be available for a majority of the summer. Shopping early is recommended for best selection.
