When the surf season ends, certified therapy dog, Surf Dog Ricochet trades her life jacket for a Santa jacket & transforms herself into Surfin’ Santa Paws… turning boards into bucks!!

This is Ricochet’s 11th season of Howliday Giving Drives, and this year, Army Veteran, Jose Martinez and Marine staff sergeant Persons B. Griffith IV (Ret) have gotten on board.
Jose lost three limbs when he stepped on an IED in Afghanistan and Griff developed PTSD after witnessing the horrors of war from two deployments.
Every 65 minutes a veteran takes their life by suicide. That’s 22 lives a day!
This campaign is a way to raise funds and awareness for the men and women of the military who make the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our freedom.
These courageous individuals go through rigorous training to learn how to fight a war, but nobody teaches them how to come home after experiencing battlefield atrocities. Ricochet, Jose and Griff have joined forces to share their experiences to help heal, change and save the lives of their comrades. The trio inspires their brothers and sisters in arms through adaptive surfing, surf therapy and the healing power of dogs.
The donations garnered from this campaign will help Ricochet sponsor wounded warriors like Jose in adaptive surfing, as well as continue her human-animal healing interventions and canine-assisted surf therapy programs for veterans with PTSD like Griff.
Please let Ricochet show you how to save a life by sharing this campaign and/or making a tax-deductible donation at http://bit.ly/HowlidayGivingDrive.
You will be helping Jose inspire more wounded warriors with his resilience and astonishing feats. You’ll help Griff shed more light on our military war heroes who are suffering in silence, and you’ll help Ricochet bark about human-animal intervention and the healing power of dogs.
You will be changing and saving lives!
