O’Reilly’s Cheesemas in July

If you agree that ‘the best things in life are cheese’ then forget your typical Christmas in July and think Cheesemas this winter at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards on Sunday 29th July, from 11:30am to 2:00pm.

Favourite local cheeses such as Summerland Camel Fetta will be profiled and matched with a selection of award-winning wines from Canungra Valley Vineyards.

Join a five-course tasting plate menu curated by O’Reilly’s Wine Production Manager Kevin Murtagh and Kate Raymont from The Vintage Pickle and learn about the urban knowledge of cheese.

Kate explains, “I love Cheesemas in July as it gives an opportunity to share high quality cheeses with people who may not usually buy or have ever tried exotic varieties.”

“The great thing about this event is we get to showcase unique local cheeses to local people who, armed with the background history and taste experience, will then buy the cheese.”

The 2018 tasting plate heroes include Summerland Camel Fetta, Pure Artisan Truffle Brie and Shaved Paprika spiced Goats Cheese matched with Sparkling Semillon, Marsanne and Tempranillo wine varieties.

If cheese and wine are considered your two main food groups then go to https://oreillys.com.au/events/cheesemas-july/ to book your ticket. Pricing is $70 members and $85 non-members.

It’s sure to be a Gouda day!
