Swiss Education Group has launched an exciting new online learning platform, offering hospitality and tourism professionals interactive guided learning and self-paced learning programmes, which include short but inspiring lectures and practical learning guidance, with thorough tutorial feedback and support.

“Our online certificate programmes provide professionals within the industry the opportunity to drive their success by investing in their careers,” says Swiss Education Group Professional Co-Managing Director Sonia Santana Cerpa, who oversees the project.

Designed in partnership with industry experts and experienced Swiss Education Group faculty, the online certificate programmes cover a variety of topics, from operations to strategic business management, including: Differentiation Strategies for Brand Positioning; Food and Beverage Revenue and Value Creation; Leadership Styles for Coaching, Mentoring & Growing People; Process Mapping: Performance Measurement and Improvement; Mastering Wine Tasting; and others.

Programmes vary in duration – either two, three, or four weeks in length – and require around five hours of focused work per week. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate from SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School, Hotel Institute Montreux or César Ritz Colleges Switzerland.

This is Swiss Education Group’s latest initiative to adapt to the realities of a COVID-19 world and reaffirms its innovative and agile approach to learning. The launch of this online learning platform is a significant milestone in building a continuous lifelong learning hub.

Regardless of where someone is located, they can now access Swiss Education Group’s certificate programmes at affordable prices.

Swiss Education Group Chief Executive Officer Yong Shen says: “These online certificate programmes are part of our diverse value propositions for students and industry professionals. Online learners can become part of our global learning community, benefiting from great virtual networking and learning events, amongst others.”
