The advertising campaign aims to celebrate the diversity of Palawan’s offerings, best known for its multi award-winning beaches. Norjamin Gallardo-Delos Reyes, Tourism Attaché at Philippine Department of Tourism Australia and New Zealand, said,

“We hope that Sydney commuters have noticed our little slice of Filipino paradise on their daily commutes.  Palawan has long been a sought-after destination for a wide range of travellers.  For adventurers, wildlife lovers, divers, couples or for those who are simply seeking to disconnect and indulge in the ultimate island paradise; Palawan’s archipelago of almost 2,000 islands offers something for every traveller.  Island-hopping takes travellers from secret lagoons and caves, to wildlife sanctuaries and world-class scuba diving.

“As the warmer months taper off into Sydney’s cooler autumn weather and commuters begin craving some Vitamin D, this is the perfect time to remind Sydneysiders of all that Palawan has to offer.  We also have excellent connectivity from all major gateways across Australia.  So, there’s nothing left to do but book your holiday to Palawan and pack a suitcase!” says Ms. Gallardo-Delos Reyes.

The campaign launched with an official ribbon cutting ceremony at Bondi Junction Station, with guests including, Norjamin Gallardo-Delos Reyes, Tourism Attaché for Australia and New Zealand, Philippine Department of Tourism, and the Philippine Consul General in Sydney in attendance.
