Spread the love

It is not only adults missing holiday life at sea and one Sydney family has taken the initiative to keep their children’s cruise dreams alive while they wait to sail again with P&O Cruises.Tina and Nick Cerovac from Bankstown in Sydney’s south west knew they had to do something dramatic  to satisfy the joy of cruising for their children, Adam 8 and Serene 4 (pictured).

So, they organised a joint birthday party for the children with a colourfully dynamic cruise theme created by Maureen at Mauzy Creations whose other separate  role in a busy professional life is to provide therapeutic support to foster children and their families.

“With so many families cruising with P&O, sometimes three generations at a time, it’s no surprise that children would also be missing much loved holidays at sea and the fantastic onboard experiences,” said P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell. “We are looking forward to the day when we can again welcome families to enjoy a special time together on our ships.”

And as Tina happily says, cruising is never far from the children’s minds and they love recreating the experience at home.

“We are always talking about cruising. I have never seen my kids love something so much,” Tina said. “I also fell in love with P&O’s customer service agent, Ali, because she made me feel like there is hope. If I get a call to say we can cruise again I will be in tears.”
