Takashimaya has been one of Japan’s most prestigious and successful department stores for over 180 years. To expand the success, it planned to open the first Bangkok store at ICONSIAM in November 2018. Situated in a prime location, the department store will strengthen ICONSIAM’s position as a new riverside landmark destination and attract both locals and visitors from around the world.

Takashimaya at ICONSIAM is located on 36,000-sqm space. Under a novel store concept, this seven-story department store offers an authentic Japanese experience with modern, playful and exciting twist. This beauty leads to a unique lifestyle never experienced before in Thailand.

Mr. Kenji Horiguchi, Managing Director of Siam Takashimaya (Thailand) Co., Ltd., revealed, “Thanks to unique strength as the first full-scale authentic Japanese department store, Siam Takashimaya will deliver a new experience and happiness to those who like authentic Japanese products. With an extensive selection of quality products to serve people at all ages, the store carries more than 500 brands, 180 of which are well-known Japanese brands and 80 of which are brand new to Thailand. Shoppers will find their favorite food, snacks, drinks and services throughout seven floors. An entire floor is dedicated to Japanese food, including supermarket, high-quality ingredients and premium restaurants. As a highlight of this floor, Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza, local specialty shop, will excite shoppers with fresh produces, sweets and delicacies.
