The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is adopting a work from home approach for staff at the TAT Head Office and all domestic offices from 4 to 17 January, 2021, with the reopening date scheduled for Monday, 18 January, 2021.

The decision is according to the Royal Thai Government’s nationwide effort to contain the current resurgence of local transmission.

As the nation takes unprecedented measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, TAT as a state-run enterprise is doing its utmost to strictly implement preventive measures and heighten awareness for all in Thailand to protect themselves from being exposed to the virus.

Taking into consideration the aim to safeguard public health, while TAT adopts a work from home approach, it adheres with the policy of the Thai tourism industry to provide and maintain quality services.

TAT would like to take this opportunity to remind all to wear masks when in public, maintain social distancing, and wash hands frequently so everyone can enjoy the festive holiday season safely and in good health.

TAT apologises for any inconvenience should international and domestic tourists be unable to contact our offices during this time of difficulty.  TAT remains contactable for tourism information 24/7 at the TAT Contact Centre 1672.
