At this event Akihiro has created the Hibiya area to become a land of Spring that combines both the Oriental and Western glamour. You can enjoy taking pictures of flowers dome, and line up of Sakura with spectacular lights at night. Immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery that you can enjoy the moment during either daytime or after sunset.

In addition, on March 30 – April 5, 2019 is the Anniversary Stage concert which is held in the theme of the combination between film and music. The main idea of this event is the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”, which is the story of legendary rock star “Freddie Mercury” from “Queen” band and it was nominated for Oscar Award for the best movie in 2019. You will meet many artists at the event and can enjoy throughout the week.

           This Spring, EXPOCITY in Osaka Prefecture would like to invite everyone to experience the beauty of 9 species of Sakura with over 5,500 of Sakura trees at the Sakura Festival, Banpaku Kinen Koen Park. One of the 100 most famous Sakura sightseeing spots in Japan.
Banpaku Kinen Koen (The Expo’70 Commemorative Park) is famous for the beauty of various flowers that bloom throughout the year, including plum blossom, hydrangea, cosmos and 9 sakura species. At the sakura festival “Banpaku Kinen Koen Sakura Matsuri”, you will see pink cherry blossoms blooming on both sides along the Higashi Oji walkway and the surrounding area and also enjoy taking a photo or picnic under the tree in the cool breeze as you like. In addition, after 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. there is also a light-up cherry blossom that will make you dazzled throughout the festival. Admission fee is only 250 yen for an adult and 70 yen for an elementary and junior high school student.
In 2019, the “Banpaku Kinen Koen Sakura Matsuri” Sakura Festival will be held on March 20 – April 14, 2019.

           Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport TOKYO-BAY operated by Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management had big renovation and gradually open new stores and more than 51 renovated stores from Friday March 15, 2019.
You will find many new look stores and 12 new brands shop which are limited only here. Also, pop-up shops for teenagers such as “LaLaPOP” and “LaLa Popteen Land” will open.
