Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel, is offering cruisers the chance to explore Alaska in 2020 onboard the youngest fleet sailing the region.

Norwegian Joy sea trial

From spectacular glaciers to majestic marine life and wild coastal scenery, Alaska delivers a raft of ‘bucket-list’ experiences best discovered by sea. Explore mighty snow-capped cliffs onboard NCL’s newest ship Norwegian Bliss, the recently refurbished Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Jewel or Norwegian Sun, with numerous immersive itineraries available.

Alaska is a captivating land of ancient glaciers, majestic vistas and diverse wildlife, coupled with a culture steeped in a rich history. From watching frolicking whales from your private balcony while sipping hot chocolate, to meeting a playful pack of huskies at an authentic musher’s kennel, or tracing the historical Klondike Gold Rush Trail on a train journey into the rugged Yukon, there’s as much action ashore as there is onboard.

“Once seen as a cruising destination for more senior travellers, Norwegian is re-imagining the Alaska cruise experience to cater to all ages, elevating the onboard offering to new heights with amenities such as go-kart track and open air laser tag, making NCL a pioneer in the region,” said Nicole Costantin, Vice President Sales Australia and New Zealand at Norwegian Cruise Line.

“We pride ourselves on offering guests the chance to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of a Norwegian Cruise Line experience, whether travellers are looking for a multi-generational Alaskan adventure for the entire family, a special romantic getaway or a solo bucket-list voyage. Delivering the best in scenic glacier cruising, our four ships sailing this unique destination in 2020 visit iconic Alaskan ports including Juneau, Skagway, Icy Straight Point and Ketchikan,” said Nicole.
