An innovator in luxury cruising, Silversea Cruises is pleased to announce that David McAllister AM, Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet, will join Silver Muse as a guest enrichment lecturer in January 2020. 

As a celebration of David’s final year as Artistic Director in 2020 and as part of the exclusive partnership between Silversea and The Australian Ballet, guests travelling on board the elegant Silver Muse will have the chance to attend thought-provoking lectures presented by David, along with the exciting opportunity to meet him in person, during an enlightening 13-day Pacific Islands voyage, departing Sydney on 3 January 2020.

David joined The Australian Ballet in 1983 and since then his legacy amounts to two substantial careers within the company as a dancer and as Artistic Director. As both Principal Artist of The Australian Ballet and as its longest serving Artistic Director, David has made an extraordinary and unique contribution to dance and the performing arts in Australia.  His career exemplifies the transformative power of ballet and under his leadership The Australian Ballet has become internationally renowned for its distinctively Australian style and character.
