The biggest travel stressors to watch out for, according to

From the single act of getting to the airport and  navigating public transport, today leading travel search engine has revealed typical stresses Aussies face when they travel abroad.

The results  uncovered that one in three Aussies find holiday planning  as the most stressful (33%), followed by  travelling to the destination (27%), and returning from the holidays (26%).

When it comes to planning a holiday, more than half (51%) said finding accommodations that suit everyone’s taste and budget was the most stressful aspect, followed by finding flight tickets at reasonable prices (48%) and packing for their holiday (44%).

Amongst those who claimed travelling to the destination was the most taxing aspect, almost half (48%) said getting to the airport on time was their main source of stress, followed by concerns about forgetting to pack their passports, clothing and medication (45%), and organising airport transfers (41%).

For those who stress throughout the holiday, 48% claim spending too much money was the most stressful aspect, followed by trying to figure out the local public transport system (40%), and keeping everyone happy and entertained whilst away (39%).
