Following a temporary closure, Hong Kong’s airport reopened at 06:00 this morning local time. The Airport Authority has re-scheduled all delayed flights caused by the disruption. Demonstrations are scheduled to continue today at the airport arrival hall though no further delays are reported at this time.

The airport protest, which caused the cancellation of more than 150 flights, was a rare case of the movement that has caused temporary restrictions in movement around the city within the last week.

Destination Asia Hong Kong is in close contact with all agents with guests on the ground or scheduled to arrive in coming days. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.
