Last week saw The DMC Network’s Annual Talent Search taking place on the Tuesday evening of IMEX America.  This was the company’s 7th year hosting the event in Las Vegas, firmly solidifying it in the trade show calendars of client and industry partners globally.  With the celebration taking place in the Marquee Night Club at the Cosmopolitan hotel, this year did not disappoint the nearly 1000 guests in attendance.  The DMC Network’s new philanthropic focus was also launched during the event and their partnership with Water.Org was introduced as the chosen charity for the evenings fundraiser, along with financial support for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas.   Fantastic trips and industry education sponsored by the Marriot and Meeting Professionals International were on offer during the evening, along with performances from local musical acts that entertained guests throughout the night.  This year’s judges included Rhonda Brewer, Vice President of North American Sales at BCD Meetings and Events, Tim Oldfield, Senior Director of Global Sales Canada for Marriott Hotels, and Darren Temple, COO of MPI.

‘’The DMC Network Talent Search has become a milestone event for our company’’ said Dan Tavrytzky, Managing Director of the DMC Network.  ‘’We are known for our creative approach to the way we do business, and this event is an opportunity for us to celebrate that at one of the industry’s most important trade shows.  In keeping with our company ethos of ‘doing well by doing good’ , we have incorporated both our partnership with Water.Org , and our support for our Bahamas friends into our presence at IMEX this year, with the sponsorship of all raffle sales going to these two hugely important causes.  This commitment to giving back to the destinations that we do business in helps us acknowledge that we wouldn’t be where we are today without the unique, cultural and exciting towns, cities and countries that we operate in.’’

‘‘This year’s Talent Search was truly our best yet – the local talent that Las Vegas had to offer was incredible-  I’ve never seen so many clients and partners on their feet – the musical talent was electric!’ said Matt Cuevas, CEO of Cappa & Graham Terramar and Chairman of the DMC Network board.  ‘To be able to tie that energy with supporting  important causes such as the Bahamas, where we have a DMC Network Partner, and Water.Org, our official chosen charity, is the icing on the cake – it’s a part of bringing meaning to everything that we do as a global brand.’’

Following the event, the dates for the 8th Annual Talent Search were announced as Tuesday, September 15th, 2020, and as always, in conjunction with IMEX America.
