Starting today, 29th July, the first tests for Corona virus will be available in Terminal A of Tegel Airport. From Thursday 30th July, areas for testing will be ready in Terminal Area L of Schönefeld Airport. This allows those returning from high risk areas the first opportunity to be tested for COVID-19 as soon as they arrive at both airports. The tests are free of charge for travellers and are currently voluntary.
Provisions for compulsory tests have also already started at both airports. Suitable areas are being prepared for this in Terminal D in Tegel and in Terminal Area M in Schönefeld.
