Reinventing the “summer of fun” Hollywood Roosevelt style, hotel favorites such as Yoga on the Bridge, a Hollywood Bowl “Grab and Go” picnic and Night Swim Pool Parties are back and joined by new events, including an intimate Jazz Symposium with world-renowned classically trained musicians, a new Magic Show concept, and collaborations with Stoned Fox, bringing a stylish and bohemian vibe to Tropicana Pool.

  • Eat Your Drink: 6 pm-2 am Wednesday and Thursday nights, star mixologist Matthew Biancaniello (of A&E’s “Good Spirits”) takes up residency in Library Bar, where he curates custom cocktails made from exotic, fresh ingredients that are ornately strewn across the bar as Matthew personally prepares his creations for each guest. July dates include July 17, 18, 24 and 25, and August dates include August 7 ,8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29
  • Why Work Wednesday Pool Party: 12 pm-6 pm, Resident DJs, Patron Margaritas and Page Turner cocktail specials for $14

  • JAZZ:||:SYMPOSIUM at Teddy’s Bar, July 11: 8 pm-10 pm, JAZZ:||:SYMPOSIUM performs complete conceptual works from iconic composers such as Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock and Art Blakely and tastefully intertwines these works with spontaneous improvisations on the trumpet, tenor saxophone, piano, bass and drums. Open to the public, the July 11 show will be dedicated to Miles Davis and the iconic album “Kind of Blue.” Guests may purchase tickets online or at the door. Jazz symposium members include Gerrit Kinkel on trumpet, Jordan Donald on saxophone, Doug Carter on piano, Jimi Hawes on bass and Aaron Williams on drums

  • Robert Craig Wine Dinner, July 27: Join Napa Valley’s Robert Craig Winery CEO Elton Stone for a night of exquisite wine-and-chef-driven meal pairings, tastings and spirited musings at Public Kitchen & Bar, preceded by a special VIP Penthouse Reception with Elton before the dinner. Alongside beverage director Yael Vengroff, who was named American Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards last year, each guest bartender creates a special, over-the-top tiki-inspired menu for one night only, along with food pairings and DJs.
