The Travel Corporation (TTC) has re-affirmed its ongoing commitment to its valued travel agent partners with the evolution of it’s My Travel Portal (MTP) platform. One year since launch, MTP has supported travel advisors in delivering an enhanced service for their customers, our guests. Everything is taken care of within the cohesive online portal, from travellers being able to personalise their trip and access day by day itineraries, to hosting an e-documentation hub and supporting advisors in ensuring a reasonable duty of care for every traveller.

To build on the successful first year in market, and true to the family-owned, international travel group’s philosophy, driven by service excellence, TTC has invested to optimise the platform to further enhance the end to end experience with its brands. Following a 3000+ travel advisor research initiative and an in-depth consumer study on utilisation and feedback, the platform now provides even greater functionality and ease of usability.

The optimised MTP 2.0 streamlined offering means even less hassle for agents and their customers alike. From having travellers’ emergency contact details timely available now in the event of unforeseen circumstances to obtaining travellers’ personal preferences to ensure their trip becomes tailored to their specific tastes, MTP facilitates assistance with holiday plans in one centralised and convenient platform for advisors.

Addressing pre-trip and on-trip needs, the portal continues to also help TTC and its valued advisor partners do its part in Making Travel Matter. When travellers choose the option to view itineraries and documents on their mobile device rather than in paper format, TTC plants a tree in conjunction with the non-for-profit organisation focused on global reforestation, One Tree Planted. Together, last year we already reforested several hundred acres of barren and devastated land.

Trafalgar travel advisors and guests with bookings to travel in 2019 will be able to access the newly optimised Travel Portal from today, with Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Contiki and Uniworld rolling out in the coming months. Additional brands from the TTC group will be added to MTP 2.0 in due course. Also, additional enhancements and other tools are planned to be added to MTP later this year and into 2020, to continue to enhance it in conjunction with continued travel advisor guest feedback.

Commenting on the My Travel Portal (MTP) launch and e documentation program across TTC, Brett Tollman, Chief Executive said: “We are proud to announce our latest innovative initiative, the evolution of My Travel Portal 2.0, which has been carefully optimised in line with our advisor partners input. At TTC, we take immense pride in the trust and valuable relationships we have built across the industry, globally, and we continually strive to equip advisors with the best tools for success. Given that sustainable tourism practices are a cornerstone of what we stand for at TTC, we are delighted to confirm our continuation of e documentation and partnership with One Tree Planted, who share our vision for preserving the environment for future generations. With the help of all those who opt out of paper documents, we will be able to continue to make a significant impact. We thank our partners in advance for all that they will do to educate their customers on the power of MAKING TRAVEL MATTER – our TTC mantra today.  We look forward to continuing to invest in enhancing this MTP tool further in the future as well.”
