THR1VE Announces Proven Significant Results from Australian-First Research Trial

Wellness brand,  THR1VE, are excited to announce that they have conducted an Australian-First Research Trial which has now proven that the THR1VE 8 Week Protocol has significant positive effects on weight loss, fitness levels and mood enhancement. No other nutrition & fitness program in Australia has conducted research to this extent and can prove that their program actually works as THR1VE now can.

We created THR1VE to transform the health and wellness of all Australians, through the delicious simplicity of real food nutrition and an active lifestyle.

We always challenge ourselves to think differently, to create innovative and proactive solutions to the lifestyle disease crisis in Australia. We are also passionate about investing in world-first, university-led nutritional research. As a result, in 2018 THR1VE conducted a clinical trial with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to test our holistic lifestyle program, the THR1VE Protocol.

QUT conducted a randomised controlled trial (RCT) that compared our fresh ready meals with a conventional healthy diet over eight weeks. The team was led by Professor Remco Polman from QUT’s School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences in Brisbane.

The control group followed dietary guidelines as developed by the Australian Government. The experimental group were provided with three THR1VE fresh ready meals a day and protein snacks. Both groups followed the THR1VE exercise program. Participants were tested at the start and end of the trial for cardiorespiratory fitness, body composition (using DEXA scans), blood biomarkers and psychological wellbeing. The results found that participants following our synergistic nutrition and training program experienced significantly more benefits.

  • The THR1VE group lost an average of 4.5 kilos and up to 18.2 kilos over the eight weeks. They also had a significant improvement in Fat Mass Index, compared to the control group.
  • Participants in the QUT trial experienced an improvement in their emotional wellbeing over the eight weeks, with significant decreases in symptoms of stress. This was measured using DASS (Depression, Anxiety & Stress Survey) scores.
  • All the participants in the clinical trial followed our time-efficient training program. However, the QUT researchers found that participants fuelled by THR1VE meals were significantly fitter than the control group after the clinical trial. To assess this, researchers measured cardiorespiratory fitness via VO2peak. The VO2peak increased nearly 11% in the THR1VE experimental group over the eight weeks.
  • The program improves a broad range of health markers – participants following the THR1VE nutrition and exercise program lowered their triglyceride levels by an impressive 25% on average, which benefits heart health and reduces stroke risk. Plus, they reduced their inflammation levels, as measured by C-reactive protein. Many researchers now look to systemic inflammation as a strong indicator of potential lifestyle disease risk. Average levels of total cholesterol were also improved

So many companies lie to you. This particular program doesn’t. It’s real.

The results are outstanding. I lost six kilos in eight weeks. I feel stronger, I’m still exercising, I’m making better choices around food. I’m more productive in my work because of it. I’ve got more energy.”

– QUT trial participant Amanda.
