This summer the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan has thrills galore thanks to our favourite Aussies! Kids can take part in the Ned Kelly & Co theatre show, get up close with wildlife, and have a Kanga Kitchen feast among other Australian inspired community programs.

All-Aussie thrills It’s an all-Aussie adventure at the Garden with the Australian Wildlife Show bringing a range of animals from the cute and cuddly to scaly and scary.

Ned Kelly and Co. – Theatre Holiday Fun will teach kids about the lives of Australia’s most notorious and daring bushrangers in this action-packed interactive theatre production.

What’s more Aussie than bush tucker? The Kids Kanga Kitchen is a hands-on cooking and learning experience where children will create their very own Kangaroo burger and native infused cupcake, all while learning about the flora and fauna important to Aboriginal culture.

The ever-popular Kids vs Wild morning returns with a fantastic water fun theme. Learn to make a water filter, explore our ponds with some dip netting, and complete outdoor challenges while staying cool this summer with the Garden’s experienced outdoor educators.

To make a full day of fun at the Garden, book into Eco-Art in the afternoon and the lunch break will be supervised.

Christmas creativity This December Santa’s Workshop is a half or whole day of cool festive crafts at the Garden, allowing caregivers to get those last minute jobs done! Little elves will be introduced to a range of art mediums and natural materials to create gifts parents and grandparent will love.
