Oakland celebrates its unique bar heritage and community during Oakland Cocktail Week this September 15-23, 2018. 
Over 40 participating bars and restaurants from Oakland, Alameda and Emeryville have crafted cocktails to tell the stories of Oakland, offering them to cocktail enthusiasts at $10 throughout the week. Special events will further tell stories about Oakland’s heritage, crafts spirits and the role the bar industry plays in Oakland’s future. Events range from a tiki crawl to a short documentary premiere to a bitters making workshop to a panel discussion moderated by Oakland mayoral candidate Cat Brooks. Tickets are now on sale on the Oakland Cocktail Week website. A portion of proceeds from events benefit the local chapter of non-profit Restaurants Opportunity Center (ROC the Bay).
